GROW is currently looking for a Fabrication Technical Supervisor to be placed for one of our clients in the Building & Civil Engineering industry for deployment to Lagos, Nigeria.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in shipbuilding or fabrication
- Understanding of shipbuilding processes, materials, and regulations.
- Diploma or Degree or certifications in a relevant field such as Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Naval Architecture etc.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in shipbuilding/fabrication
- Ability to analyze and resolve fabrication-related issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and direct a team of welders, fitters, sandblasters and other fabrication personnel.
- Monitor and enforce quality standards, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Plan and coordinate fabrication activities, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources.
- Ensure a safe working environment, enforcing safety protocols and regulations.
- Work with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and resolve fabrication-related problems, implementing corrective actions.
- Keep accurate records of production, quality control, and safety performance.
- Job order monitoring and reporting.
