Job Qualifications
- Holder of valid Certificate of Registration and Professional Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) as provided for in Section 11 of RA 8981
- Holder of master’s degree in education or in allied fields
- Must be a holder of master’s degree in education and undergraduate degree in Early Childhood / Elementary Education
- OR
- Holder of master’s degree in related fields such as Development Psychology, Social Work Community Development, Art and Music Education, Guidance and Counselling, Child Psychology, Behavioral Science, Reading Education, Language Ed, Special Ed
Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach with stories, music, play, field trips, art, drama and movement.
- Help each child participate and succeed.
- Protect children’s health and safety.
- Help children learn good eating, dressing and toileting habits.
- Help each child build their sense of identity and belonging.
- Plans and prepares classroom setting; oversees safety and educational programs; supervises children in the classroom; provides a supportive environment in which children can learn and practice appropriate and acceptable individual and group behaviors.
