GROW is currently looking for a Dredging Operations Supervisor to be placed for one of our clients in the Building & Civil Engineering industry for deployment to Nigeria.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record handling supervisor roles on dredging sites with experience on suction and cutter dredgers.
- Diploma or Degree or certifications in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or dredging-specific certifications.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in maritime and dredging industry
- Strong understanding of dredging operations, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to motivate and direct dredger crew.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and organize workflow for dredging operations on the dredger’s (i.e. suction and cutter dredgers) and reclamation site ensuring efficient and safe operation.
- Oversee dredging projects, ensuring compliance with project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Lead and direct dredger crew, promoting a safe and productive working environment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Work with operations, technical, and other teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of dredging operations, including production reports, safety incidents, and equipment maintenance.
