GROW is currently looking for an Academic Specialist for Math to be placed for one of our clients in the E-Learning Industry.

Our client is an Education Technology company that provides e-learning, coaching, tutoring, and assessment services for K-12 in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Mexico.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Must have graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, majoring in Math or related courses
  • At least 5 years of teaching experience in the above subjects (3 years minimum in a face-to-face learning setting).
  • Must have experience in creating and developing learning materials tailored for teachers and students, specifically focusing on mathematics-related subjects.
  • Must have education and/or publishing-related training.
  • Extensive knowledge of Math for basic education
  • Background for ed-tech trends specific to Math
  • Familiar with the Chicago Manual of Style (17th ed)
  • Familiar with the DepEd K-12 curriculum, Bloom’s taxonomy, and other learning pedagogies specific to Math
  • Proficient in Google Suite apps such as Docs, Slides, and Sheets

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Provides expertise for the assigned subject/group across content creation phases. Contributes specialized knowledge during content review cycles
  • Content Production: Manages end-to-end production or a phase of production. This includes hands-on writing, editing, finalizing, encoding, and publishing of the contents as required
  • Content Development: Curriculum map creation and input during prototyping and development phases

RENUMERATION PACKAGE

  • Benefits (Upon Regularization):
  • Leave Benefits: 10 days Vacation Leave (increasing annually, up to a maximum of 20 days), 10 days Sick Leave (unused leave convertible to cash).
  • Health Coverage: HMO coverage for the employee + 1 dependent.
  • Other Perks: Communication allowance of P1,100/month.
  • Compensation:

Salary Range: Php 30,000 to Php 35,000 

 

CLIENT LOCATION & WORK SET UP 

  • Makati City, Metro Manila
  • Full time, Regular
  • Mondays to Fridays, Flexible Working Hrs (8 hrs/day)
  • Remote Work (Some office days may be required, mostly work-from-home)
