GROW is currently looking for Senior Quantity Surveyor (Roads & Bridges) to be placed for one of our clients in the Civil Infrastructure and Construction Industry for deployment to Nigeria
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum 8–15 years of quantity surveying experience in civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in major roads, highways, interchanges, flyovers, bridges, and related infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in RIB Candy Software.
• Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, cost control, and contract administration.
• Experience managing projects from tender stage through final account settlement.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC and other international construction contract forms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Professional membership or certification with a recognized quantity surveying body is an advantage.
• Additional certifications in contract management or project controls are desirable.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for road and bridge projects.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow.
• Prepare valuations, progress claims, and payment applications.
• Manage variations, change orders, and project claims.
• Review and certify subcontractor and supplier payments.
• Administer construction contracts and maintain project records.
• Prepare commercial reports and forecasts for management.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.
