GROW is currently looking for Transport Equipment Mechanic to be placed for one of our clients in a professional technical service team in the Netherlands.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least a graduate of a 3-year vocational course, diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Technology, Automotive, or any related field
- With 3–5 years of relevant work experience in diagnosing technical issues and identifying defects,electrical systems, welding, and mechanical works
- Strong interest in the transport and logistics industry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Good command of the English language
- Must have a valid Driver’s License (DL Code B)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work on a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including:
- Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire replacements
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical defects
- Replacing brake components
- Repairing trailer tarpaulins and performing structural/welding work
- Working with electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components
- Reading and understanding technical diagrams and client-specific work instructions
You will use a well-equipped workshop featuring:
- Professional tool sets
- Diagnostic equipment
- Maintenance pits
- Brake testing equipment
- Vehicle lifts
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
- Monthly gross salary: €2,600 – €3,500 (depending on experience)
- Location: Woerden, The Netherlands
