GROW is currently looking for Trailer Mechanic to be placed for one of our clients in a a professional workshop environment in the Netherlands.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferably a graduate of a technical-vocational course (e.g., TESDA NC or equivalent) in Automotive, Mechanical, or related field
- With relevant work experience in mechanics or maintenance
- With strong technical knowledge and hands-on skills
- Detail-oriented, able to work independently, and a good team player
- Good command of English Language
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will work on a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including:
- Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers
- Focusing on undercarriage components as well as technical appendages and fittings
- Preparing trailers for annual inspections at the RDW (Dutch Vehicle Authority)
- Conducting thorough checks and maintenance required for trailers transporting hazardous goods
- Ensuring trailers are delivered completely clean and rinsed before inspections
- Carrying out repair work that arises from maintenance findings — both scheduled and adhoc
- Working on trailers of different ages: some serviced within a day, others requiring more extensive work
- Collaborating in a workshop team of around 10 colleagues, including:
o Warehouse employee
o Working foreman
o Trailer mechanics
o Truck technicians
o Paint shop colleagues
o Workshop manager
REMUNERATION PACKAGE
- Monthly gross salary: €2,600 – €3,000 (depending on experience)
