GROW is currently looking for a Technical Superintendent to be placed for one of our clients in the Building & Civil Engineering industry for deployment to Nigeria.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven track record in technical roles within the maritime and/or dredging industry.
- Hands-on experience and understanding of Cummins engines, dredger pumps, jet pumps, hydraulic and other dredging equipment.
- Diploma or Degree or certifications in a relevant field such as Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering etc.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in maritime and dredging industry
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical oversight responsible for supervision and maintenance of dredge equipments.
- Plan and execute maintenance and repair activities, ensuring equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, implementing corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance and training to crew members on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Work with operations, maintenance, and other teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Daily/Weekly maintenance reporting.
